Complete Body Off Restoration
Built 1835 Engine, Dual Port, 2 Barrell Empi Carb
New interior, seats, headliner, Dash Pad, Carpet.
Body and frame were sandblasted with new pans welded in, new hard and soft brake and fuel lines, new brakes, new cables all around, new seals, new bumpers, new bumper brackets.
This car was Built by the Bugs4Christ Youth Ministry and was completed in one week! From Thursday, Feb. 28th to Thursday March 7th. The car was built to benefit the Methodist Children’s Home in Macon, Ga. 100% of the auction proceeds will go to the Methodist Children’s Home. The car was entered in it’s first car show 10 days after the build was STARTED and won First in Class and Promoter’s Choice Awards at the Silver Dollar Showdown in Reynolds, GA. It won Ladies Choice Award at the Annual Road Rebels Hot Rod Car Show in Warner Robins, GA. It’s last show was Y U Buggin at Atlanta Motor Speedway, with 300 VW’s registered it won Best In Show Award. This car was built for charity and is being sold as a fundraiser. This car was built as a ministry project and involved children from the Home, local volunteers, and volunteers from the VW Community all over Georgia. Paint was donated by Butler Automotive Paint in Macon, Georgia and all Prep work supplies were from 3M Automotive, including Epoxy Primer and all sanding materials.
